Tim Hammond : Furniture Designer & Creator
ReTimbered is a company born out of my passion for rescuing quality timber and breathing new life into it. Living on Auckland's North Shore, I've spent a lifetime in the building industry and love the process of creating with natural materials. I create stunning bespoke furniture that may also be considered art forms.
One of my great pleasures is in revealing the “beauty” hidden beneath the surface just waiting to be discovered.
Each of my pieces is personalised and created to meet clients’ requests. I work with them throughout the entire design process, ensuring there are no surprises other than the unique look and feel of the completed piece.
Tim rescued old Kauri weatherboard and Rimu and gave it new life as a beautifully crafted bench. We love our morning coffees at the beach in the sunshine on this feature seat.
